Our Core Values

The core doctrines of our Christian faith, thoroughly rooted in God’s Holy Word.

We believe in one true and living God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things and is worthy of worship, obedience, and glory.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Lord, and Savior. We believe that Jesus Christ:

  • Is truly God and truly man
  • Was born of the virgin Mary
  • Lived a sinless life
  • Died on the cross for our sins
  • Was buried & rose bodily from the dead
  • Ascended to heaven and will return according to God's promise

We believe that salvation is found through Jesus Christ alone.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is fully divine and active in the lives of believers. The Holy Spirit:

  • Convicts people of sin & leads people to Christ
  • Gives spiritual life and indwells believers
  • Helps believers understand and apply God's Word
  • Produces Christian character & equips believers for service

We believe spiritual maturity is demonstrated through faith, obedience, holiness, love, truth, service, and the fruit of the Spirit.

We believe that God is the Creator of heaven and earth and that human life has inherent value and dignity because people are created by God. We therefore encourage responsible stewardship of God's creation and care for our communities and environment.

We believe that every human being has dignity and value before God. We also believe that humanity is affected by sin and that every person needs God's forgiveness and salvation. No person can earn salvation through good works, money, religious activity, or human achievement.

We believe that salvation is by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ, involving repentance and faith in Christ. A person is saved because of God's grace and Christ's finished work, not because of personal merit. Those who trust in Christ are called to live a transformed life characterized by faith, obedience, love, and good works.

We believe that genuine salvation rests upon God's grace and Christ's finished work. Believers are encouraged to grow in faith, obedience, and Christian maturity while trusting God's immutable promises.

We believe that the local church is a community of believers gathered for:

• Worship• Biblical Teaching• Prayer• Fellowship• Discipleship• Evangelism• Service• Spiritual Growth
